Logitech Z680 Rear Speaker Problem

Hello, I had this speakers for a week and all of the sudden there was no sound coming out of the rear speakers. I press the test button and i just get sound from the front and center. It not the software. It just the Z680. I try everything, I plug the rear speakers to front jack to see if the problems was with speakers its not. Any ideas?

Sounds like the amp went out for the back speaker ports. Send them back and get another set.

Uh oh... I just got me a set of Z-680's... took forever to find somewhere that sold em!

Hopefully mine dont go!!!!!

Btw, What soundcard you connecting your speakers to? And what connection? I'm using Direct Analogue for now, till I get optical for my EPoX 8RDA+ nForce2 sound thingy!

I do have an audigy platinum with optical out, but seems it doesnt want to work with my speakers

Don't listen to darthgary. Only the 560's had a problem with the amp. Its very rare for the 680s amp to go out. I've had my 680s blasting at about 3/4 for 6 hours once at a party. My amp only got warm.

I'm useing an 8rda+ mobo too and am also connecting via 6 channel direct. I am waiting to get the advance sound thingy until I find a decent fiber optic cable splitter so I can connect my xbox and computer up to the speakers through fiber optic at the same time.
