Kids over 400FSB[200] on athlon?

the most recent release of athlon was the 3200+ operating at 400MHz FSB correct?

i see all over the net the marketing of 433, even 466 MHz ram

however i don't see motherboards supporting over 400 MHz FSB? are they out there and im not seeing them or what?

anybody had and experiences with overclocking past 400MHz FSB?

any sandra benches for a cpu over 400MHz FSB? im interested in this because i want to see how much more open the "bottleneck" is in a system with very high FSB.

thanks!

Well, there have been some people out there who have gotten their nForce2 mobo's past a 200 MHz FSB, I think the highest I've seen was about 220 MHz, but I think this is more for the new 865PE and 875 boards for the P4. Most of the 800 MHz boards are able to get up to 250 MHz FSB, but only after the RAM speed has been divided to slow it down closer to spec.

hummina.... well i suppose we won't be seeing any widespread competitve OC support for +200 FSB until the release of Athlon 64, perhaps the Athlon FX's...

what would be extremely desireable would be to have another Nforce board with locked PCI/AGP clocks that could hit about 300FSB and support socket 462[A] come out as a last ditch effort for AMD XP/FX lines while Athlon 64 is reigning.

we'll all see soon enough!

just imagine, an XP with FSB 500[250] bandwidths would be smoking!
