ATI RADEON 9700 PRO help!

I'm having problems with my card. I'm not sure how well it's supposed to run, but here are some FPS stats:
~UT 2003: 1280 1024 6xAA and 16x Anisotropic (??) filtering and all the eye candy: 55 FPS. When bots are on the screen it drops to 35 FPS, is this normal?
~Splinter Cell: 1280 1024 with high, high, very high settings: 35 FPS. With 6xAA and 16x Anisotropic. The game runs smoother with aniso on when I turn it on manually in my computer. I sometimes get 45 FPS too.
~Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness: 1280 1024 I can get upwards of 40 FPS, with Post processing OFF, 6xAA and anisotropic filtering.

Are these readings good or bad? I'm concerned about the bots on Unreal.

I'm thinking about updating my processor which currently is a Athlon XP 2200 at 1.8 GHz. Do they make processors higher than 2.2 GHz? Like an Athlon at 2.4 or 2.6 GHz?

I think those frame rates are fine. The higher the quality settings, the lower FPS you'll get. As far as processors, they make Athlon XP 3200+ now.

Looks good.

You'll probably need to upgrade your motherboard and RAM.
Something with a 400 fsb and some pc3200.
