That's alot of money for a GF4Ti4200. If you want one then you can find one for around $100.

If you have around $150 to spend look at Radeon 9600PRO.
Sapphire Atlantis ATI RADEON 9600 PRO 128MB 8X AGP DVI/TV LITE BOX $151 from newegg.

It sucks Nvidia has nothing under $200 worth buying right now. The only FX cards I would get would be the 5900 series. For now ATI is really kicking butt in the midrange.

I just picked up a 9800NP for $244. Can't wait till it gets here. I'm currently on a GF2PRO.

Personally I would go with this one.Just the bundled software alone makes it worth the price.
MSI ti4200 at Googlegear
Click on manufacturers specs and take a look at the bundle. You get about 10 games with it.Not to mention the additional software.

I own the ASUS V8420 Geforce4 Ti4200 128MB 128 bit AGP 4X TV-OUT & DVI RETAIL and I have to say that I absolutely love it. I removed the stock thermal grease and added some arctic silver 3 and then I epoxied some ram sinks on and now it clocks to 320/665 stable. The 5 star rating is no joke

if you don't mind refurb i would go with this card Gainward Ultra/750-8X XP, Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4800 SE it is a kick butt card and with the 3.3ns memory should be very fast . my buddy has a asus ti4200 and plays swg and he says it works great . and this card should blow by a ti4200

just remember it is refurbed so you will just get the bare card and will have to download drivers on your own , but some people get refurbs from newegg and get all that come with it so you never know . but the refurb is 50$ less than the new one .

as far as refurbs any one of the cards on this page would be a great deal .

thanks for all the replies veryone! I have heard from other players that star wars galaxies has major issues with ATI. So that is out of the question whether or not it it is a conspiracy with NVIDIA and lucas i dont know. But ooh you make it so hard to choose. Thank you for the responses again.
