monitor isnt working but tv is???

I was having trouble getting my tv-out to work so i unplugged my monitor. well the tv works fine now, only problem is i want to use my monitor again and it isnt working. Even if i unplug the s-video cable and restart the monitor, it will work up untill the windows screen is finished loading and the login screen should come up. But this is the point where my monitor shuts off and won't display anything. any help is greatly appreaciated.


Here is what i am currently running
nvidia geforce4 mx440 w/tv-out
hp pavillion 7920
hp mx70 monitor
28 gig hard drive
255 mb ram
intel celeron processor

try going back in using the TV and disable the TV out i think that should work.

i dont know how to disable the tv out. i searched in the control panels display but cant find it?

I had the same problem. Go to Properties then settings then advanced then nview then under nview modes click on the clone radio button if you want the same picture for the tv and monitor.
