TV Tuner Card: Will any work with Direct TV

My 27" TV died and I don't want to spend $200-300 on a new tv. I was hoping there'd be a tv tuner card (maybe$20-75) that could work with my windows xp computer monitor. I have Direct TV. That's the only part I'm not sure about. I've read that Adelphia cable works but nothing on satellite.

Does anyone know? Any suggestions?

you would have to set the turner card to whatever chanel the reciever outputs to and it should work, but you would have to change chanels with the reciever still not the tuner card.

I use a winfast TV xp 2000 deluxe w/ dish network. Should be the exact same for direct TV, just run the coaxial to the card instead of your TV =)... but to be perfectly honest I think you'd be much happier just saving up for a TV...
