Win2k CANT LOGIN AFTER Boot.ini change!!!

I have Windows 2000 Pro SP2 installed and I had WindowsXPPro on it alongside 2k, and I deleted all the XPPro files, and in the Boot.ini I changed the Default startup from \WINDOWS to \WINNT.
After I did this it asks me for a password in the login screen, I don't know the pasword!
All it did before was login, there were asterisks in the password box and it was darkened out and it logged in by itself.
All I have is a folder named i386 and a install key, so I can't install it again, I don't know how to! Anyone know how to install from the i386 folder or to fix my password problem?????????

launch the installer from within the i386 folder. winnt32.exe

Normally I wouldn't answer a question like this as it reeks of a warez instal ...but I'm going out on a limb for a senor member of this site.

get a hold of a copy of NTFSDOS so you can read the drive or load up Partition Magic from the rescue disketts and convert it over to fat32 so you can use a standard dos boot disk Then you will launch the installer from the i386 folder with winnt.exe instead of winnt32.exe as you wont be in 32 bit mode

"NTFSDOS.EXE is a read-only network file system driver"
Are you sure it will work?

Not positive on the NTFSDOS being able to launch the installer but worth a try....but I do know that converting over to fat32 with partition magic will work as I've done that several times for friends

I tried it and it gives me the same error:
An internal error has occured.
Could not find a place for a swap file.
Setup cannot continue. Press ENTER to exit.
Are you sure there is a convertor for NTFS>FAT32 on the rescue disks? I can make some, I'll try it out. Is it safe?
