Hey, I just got a 1325 on my 3DMark 2003 with no overclocking.

MSI KT2 Combo-L (MS-6412)
AMD Athlon XP 2200+ 1.8 GHz Throughbred
PNY Geforce4 Ti4200 128 MB with AGP 8x (Mobo only supports 4x)
PNY 512 MB SDRAM PC133
Seagate 40 GB HD
Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller
Netgear 10/100 NIC
Pioneer 16x DVD
8x4x32 Sony CDRW
DirectX 9.0a
Windows XP Pro w/ Service Pack 1

It tested everything except GT4 (Mother Nature), Pixel Shader 2.0, and all of the sound tests because they were not supported. Does this score seem right? Thanks in advanced!

Seems about right. The GF4 ti is holding you back a bit, and that SDRAM probably doesn't help big time, but mainly I think the ti is holding you back in 03. 3d 2k3 uses a lot of DX9 stuff so if your card doesn't support it your in trouble.

You can compaire your scores to others with simiar configs at http://www.futuremark.com formaly known as http://www.madonion.com

From the results I got other people are getting 2000 at the top end to about 1400 or so at the bottom end. Like I said your mem and actually possibly your mobo are both holding you back a bit along with your vid card, but thats only in 3dmark2003. Real world stuff could be a lot different because not many games use DX9 stuff yet. Your system is pretty kickass IMO

I see, I'm planning on picking up 2 512 MB PC2700 sticks soon. I guess that should boost my score up a bit.

I had a choice of a FX5200 or a TI4200 but I went with the Ti since more people recommended it :\

And thanks, I only paid about $400 for the whole system

I heard 3DMark 2001 SE tests with DX 8.1 so I tried it with that. I got a score of 9024. Seems a bit low to me. What do you think of it?
