Audio/Modem Riser (AMR)
Hi all
Right let me explain I have just acquired a
Pentium 3 600 MHz
128meg ram
20 gig 7200rpm
cc820 mobo
Creative labs ct6980 agp graphics card
The mobo has a riser slot and I have a riser modem but cant get them to work?
When I do a search for new hardware win ME finds nothing
Do I need a driver for the riser slot?
Thanks all

AMR modems usually either use SmartLink or PCTel chipsets.
www.smlink.com
or
www.conexant.com
for drivers, respectively.

You may need to check in the BIOS to make sure it is enabled.
if it is an AMR modem then it should have something in the BIOS like AC97 modem, or something like that...make sure its enabled.
