Can anyone please explain how dual channel memory works or refer me to a website that does explain it? My Abit IS7 has it and I keep hearing praises at how they're better than single channel. Are there DIMMs that are specifically made to be dual channel or can I just use two of the same DIMMs? Any explanation would help a lot. Thank you for your time.

You can use two matching DIMMs. "Dual channel memory" in Google search found many sites explaining the technology.
