i know it's possible for xp pro machines. i'm running pro and want to be able to access other's desktops for tech support, etc. can i do it if they're running xp home? i tried it once with no success. is it possible? details? thanks.
VNC is good. It has the ability to use SSL. You just need to install an SSL server on each PC you want to connect to. It's not an easy task and installs some DLL's with converted Unix system functions etc...
i just installed realvnc. posted a new thread, but just should've asked here first. anyone want to let me try it? i'm on my laptop at work running win98, but i'd like to see how it works before i tell others about it. if i could connect both using a server and a viewer once that would be great.
in order to play on the desktop of another computer my computer would be the "viewer" and the other set as the "server" correct?
