Biostar M7VIT pro CPU speed

I have a Biostar M7VIT pro and it boots up fine and everything work O.k. but Windows XP tells me I have an AMD Athlon 1900+ when It actually is a 2500+ Barton Core.???

I flashed the bios and it says it worked but its still not recongnizing the 2500+ it only recognizes the procesor as a 1900+??

any suggestions??

Is there a jumper setting that I forgot to set??

You need to set your FSB to 166MHz. In the BIOS probably.

Where in the bios is this or is this a jumper on the Mobo

Should be a jumper on the mainboard. Consult your mainboard manual...
