Western Digital Raptor SATA XP Problems

I have recently put a new WD Raptor drive in my pc, since I have installed this drive my system is not stable at all. I can go to open a web page or numerous apps and I will get blue screens and then reboot. Or if I just reboot it, XP when start up it will say that windows has recovered from a serious problem and I have to click do not send like 7 or 8 times . I thought it might be the Xp load, well I loaded it again to see.. same problems. When the pc runs, it is fast but I am going insane with all the errors and blue screens. I have a Intel 845PEBT2 board with the Silicon Images SATA controller with the raptor on the primary and a 80 gig Seagate SATA on the secondary. I used the lastest drivers from Silicon Images on the last load still no joy. I think I am about to reinstall the IDE I just replaced but I wanted to see if anyone had any clues or ideas.

THX

I found out what happened, the same time I replaced the drives I also added another stick of Corsair DDR333 memory AND adjusted the speed settings for the memory.... I had set the memory to an aggressive speed, I changed back to an auto state and all is good.

Hehe. Its a good idea(though rarely followed) to only change one thing at a time. Then you dont have confusing problems like this.
