GForce4 440 MX PCI, slow internet

I brought this new graphics card Gforce4 440MX, installing and stuff went allrite, but when ever i connect to internet i face slow access, my modem is also PIC. any help !!!

Has the internet slowed down specifically since you installed the graphics card? What did you have installed before?

Welcome!

PCI graphics cards gobble up a lot of PCI bus bandwidth. Now if your modem is an el-cheapo "soft"modem that lets the CPU do all the signal processing work, then it's going to suffer.

Thanx !!!, i kinda got over the prob today my using two different monitors for two vga cards, my internet works fine now and the setup looks cool as well. YAY
