Frontpage Question

I'm trying to create a form.
(I'm just testing right now)
I told it to send to results to a text file on my hard drive.
Then when I preview it in IE and enter the info and submit the form it gives me the following error:

FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.

What did I do wrong?
Is there something that I need to do first?

Oh, and I don't plan on publishing this anytime soon or at all.
I just wanna learn how at this point until I get the real hang of it.

Any help would be great.

The server you're publishing your webpage to must have the Frontpage extensions installed ... that's what handles those forms and all the other crap FP has in it.

I haven't published it.
That is just it.
I'm working on it on my computer and I wanted to preview it in IE and test it out first.
Is publishing it the ONLY way I can test it?

Yep the only way unless you have a "private" Frontpage enabled webserver handy
