Check the cables and power leads for the CDROM and DVD drives, and the HDD. Make sure you installed them all properly, and not upside down. (Although most new board I've seen, along with most newer drives have keyed IDE cable connections, so you can't do this. When you start your system, do the lights come on on the units? Also, what's you power supply rated at?
When you insert your operating system disc in the drive, it's giving this error? What OS are you trying to install?
