Both machines got NICs in 'em?

Best to set it all up manually, IMO. And use a simple proxy server like AnalogX's Proxy.

So, what do you wanna know?

Cheers

Well, have a look at the how-to's on a couple of sites first to get an idea how to do it.

Try www.practicallynetworked.com and www.wown.com for starters.

Rather than just walk you through it, it would be best IMO if ya had a bit of understanding of the process.

Hope that helps - post back specific questions as you encounter them.

Cheers
Mick

No, not quite that simple.

Which PC has the internet connection? Win2k or 98?

OK, then. Just go to settings, network and dial up connections and tell me what's in it. If you have a LAN connection which had the NIC as the device, then we just need to set it up.

BTW, if you want to try the built in win ICS instead of another app like AnalogX's proxy, go here to Helmigs site. he had a step-by-step for win ICS in 2k, including how to set up clients in 98.

Cheers
