WindowsXP Problem

Ive just downloaded Mozilla 1.4.It downloaded ok and its in program files but when I click on it it wont open.Any ideas welcome. EMachine-500MHZ-192Ram-WindowsXP Home(Registered Copy)

do you mean that you installed it ok, but you can't launch the program?

might be that the process is freezing... happens sometimes in xp... sometimes tied to other software, other times, not...

try ctrl-alt-del'ing when you dbl-click mozilla, to see if mozilla.exe is floating in memory...

I've experienced this twice too - I just re-ran the installer and it was back working fine... but never found out exactly what the problem was though....

Ive downloaded it twice after cleaning up the residue.I think its windows because cant get netscape to load either after downloading it.
