Will this take a faster celeron??

http://www.pcchips.com.tw/M717.html

I am looking at one of these boards...do you think it would take a celeron cpu faster than the 333 mhz it shows?

The fastest celeron with a 66mhz bus is the 766mhz celly....do you think it would work on this board with a slocket??

Let me know, JP

Celerons from 300A to 533 (the black PPGA ones) are all created equal. So on a slocket adapter, any of those will be fine.

Well I was thinking more along the lines of the fcpga 66mhz chips like the 700,733,766 etc.

Then again I have an adapter to allow use of tualitans on coppermine boards and it is also supposed to allow coppermines on ppga boards.

I think you will find a 533 ppga to be about it for that old EX/LX chipset board...
