Question about internal power cords

Each power cord inside the computer has 2 ends, one with prongs and one without. This is just for ease of connecting, right? It doesnt matter WHERE i plug things in, as long as its plugged in somewhere, right?

Dude I am so confused as to what you mean. Are you talking about the cords coming out of the power supply inside your system? If so, then no they all don't need to be plugged in. Should be one or two for your mobo depening on your chip and then one for each piece of hard ware, CD, HD, floppy, maybe your video card, plus the couple extra you need for fans.

No offense but your post is totally confusing.
Inside your computer all the Molex type plugs shoud be the female type. I do not know of any male type ends that would be in your computer.
Can you be a little more specific or attach a pic of what you mean please.

I think he's talking about the big one and the little one (for floppy drives).

EDIT: Either that or those "piggyback" plugs.
