Hi all. would like to run memtest86 on my computer to eliminate memory as the cause fo once a day crashes. Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area then a bunch of zero's followed by 50 is the important stuff I think. have dowloaded it and unzipped it. I have read the readme part,but being new to this i would like to know before I start what test I should run if I am give any options. I would appreciate any help to the max.

Just run it.

It should just go on its own. If not, run everything. Be warned that it will take a loooong time to run, so I usually do it before bed.

It should instruct you to make it's own boot disk and then boot your system with it. That's all your gotta do. I believe it'll start running automatically. If not just find the option to "run all test" or something along those lines.

It'll take anywhere from 20 minutes to many hours to complete all the tests. After it finishes the last test it'll just cycle around and start over. Let it run through all the test at least once. If possible let it run all night.
