Asus A7V333 (without firewire & raid) vs. Gigabyte GA-7VA

I'm considering to get one of these. Any thoughts as which one better? My consideration is that A7V33 seems to be receiving excellent reviews, while GA-7VA can support for newer processor (FSB333). Price is the same. Comments?

Well I can't comment on the gigabyte as I don't have one.

The asus though, I have a 2.1 thouroughbred running at 2.2 which basically gives me a 2.6/2.7 XP.

Typical Asus reliability, plug it in a switch it on...

I have had problems with gigabyte mobo's in the past and personally would buy one again. I think they have made them more reliable now though...

Hope that helps.

If that's the A7V333-X board you are talking about, it is one of the most stable boards I have ever used. My 1700 ran at 2.4ghz rock solid on one
