HELP!!!!! Video Card Running in AGP (PCI Mode)

I have a Pentium 4 1.3GHz processor with a 850GB chipset. In the properties of the video card, it says that it is running in AGP (PCI Mode), instead of AGP 4X mode. I have tried 2 different video cards but this doesn't seem to help(GeForce 2 Pro and GeForce FX 5200 Ultra). What is wrong and how can i get my video card to run at AGP 4X? By the way, i have 384MB of PC-800 RDRAM.

is there any place where i can download the AGP drivers for my motherboard/chipset? i lost the cd that came with it so.....

Lately there have been many threads on this topic, but what it boils down to is that it needs a GART, which you get by installing the drivers for your motherboard's chipset. In your case, the place you would go to download those drivers is at Intel's site, http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...ProductID=572. They're ordered by Operating system, but once you go to your OS's page it should be a quick download and install.

Man there has been alot of posts about this lately....

Nighthawk has hit the nail on the head there, just install your motherboard/chipset AGP drivers (GART drivers) and ya should be fine.
