Two Questions???

In a few days, I might be getting 2x256 pc3200 samsung and an AXP2700+. Here's the problem, I already have samsung & kingston both pc2700 512mb ram. I'm gonna built a system that has dual channel ddr(MSI Delta ILSR). Which pair of memory will serve me better for this rig I'm going to build? Also I know the AXP2500+ is a great overclocker, but I'm not really big on ocing. If I use this chip, I only would desire to go to is 2800+ speed(this is the chip I was originally going to get). But now I can get an AXP2700+ around the same price that I got the 2500+($70). Which one would be more benefical to keep?

Besides those mentioned above, this is how my system will look:
ATI 9500 pro
Emerax 460W PSU
samsung DVD 16x
samsung CDRW 48x16x48 8mb cache
Maxtor 80gb 8mb cache, WD800jb, WD1000JB
SLK-800A w/ tornado vantec
might

it looks like a pretty nice system you got there...
There isn't much need for PC3200 ram, as both of those processors you listed only have a FSB speed of 333mhz... So the PC3200 is kind of overkill.
But I THINK for dual channel, it's best to have the same kind of memory in each slot... I think.

Also, if you're NOT into overclocking, get the XP2700... It'll have a faster stock speed than the 2500.

For the dual-channel DDR setup, you'll want to keep the matched set in there. Also, if you do wind up doing a little OC'ing (say a 2500 up to 2800 speed), the 3200 stuff will tolerate it better, since it will still be a bit UNDERclocked.

And, in some things, taking, say, a 2500 to 2800 speed will actually be a bit faster than a stock 2800 setup, since the processor and memory will be communicating at a bit higher than stock speed. It's a relatively mild overclock, so it may be a moot point. Just a thought.
