Laptop Display Problems
I've been scanning the net but I haven't found anyone reporting a problem like mine so I'm posting it here in hopes that I can get some help.
I have a Dell CPx laptop running Win2K. It's working fine except for a bizarre diaplay problem. I usually use the laptop in the dock and it doesn't happen in the dosk or if I have another monitor plugged in. When I use the built in monitor, only the upper left corner(roughly 3/4) is used. If I chnge the display settings, I still only use this section of the screen. For lower resolutions than 800x600, the desktop only takes up a poertion of it. For resolutions greater than 800x600, the desktop scrolls in this section of the screen. I have tried plating with all the settings and looking through files but haven't found anything. I have reinstalled all the drivers.
The display adapters ATI Rage Mobility-M1 AGP2X.
Any help would be appreciated.
