CPU Listing

It says in the CPU support list for this Gigabyte board (GA-7DXE), that it supports a Athlon XP 2200 (.13u), what does the .13u mean? And do I have to worry about it when ordering that CPU cuz I haven't seen any other option on websites with that CPU to select .13 or whatever. Below is the chart that has the .13u in it:

You won't have to worry when ordering a cpu as all 2200+ are built useing the .13 micron proccess.

Are you sure? Because on the website I ordered it from it says that the die size was manufactured using the .18 micron process. Could it be a mistake by the owners of the website? Here is the link:

I'm pretty sure that it's just a mistake on the website you listed, amd stopped using the .18 micron process with their palomano core which maxed out at 2100+. The thoroughbred core was based on the .13 micron process and is the only core to have a 2200+ rating as far as I know unless they make a 2200+ barton core, I don't think they do though.

The picture on the site looks like a thoroughbred, the core is rectangular where as the palomano core was square.

I hope this helps,

Erik
