Why with the "lowly" 768 RAM?

Id skip the via chipset and get a nforce3. At least 1 gig of ram. 1 WD 250gb and a pair of raptors in a RAID, that burns!! And definately a bigger monitor.

I agree. nForce 3. 21" monitor. 1GB PC3500. Opteron. I already have the two Raptors in RAID 0 though. Add a Lian Li case to that too, oh but I already have that too.

The Athlon64 is scheduled to come out on Sept 22. Hopefully, the mobo and cpu prices should come down even more.
