IE wont fully maximize

When i maximize a IE browser, the posistioning gets messed up. Instead of snaping to the top of the screen and taking up the whole minoter, it just goes like this:

Any idea how to fix it? Ive rebooted, and i cant right click and drag it up.

Resize it by draging the edges. if you put cursur on the edge of the window it will turn into a double sided arrow and then you can click and drag it out more. on the corners as well and it will turn into crosshairs.

Muno, my bad, you are quite correct about that. I usally use minimize windows as I do not like mine totally maximized. I like my bottom and upper task bars showing.

I'll see what I can find on this.

Try resetting the resolution on your vid card to like 800x600, and then reset it to where you're at now.

Maybe a reg entry got borked or something with the display size.

Yes I read something like that just now about changing the resolution.

This also happens because IE looses the screen res. With an IE Window open change your screen res ( like from 1024x768 to 800x600 ) and then back. The maximized window will end up back where it belongs.
From Here

However wasn't sure if it would apply because the forum there they are referring to IE5x and 98se and I can see it looks like you are using XP and probably IE6.xx

The guy with a problem solved it by other means. but not sure if the problem reoccured, forum thread doesn't really specify.

Won't hurt to try these suggestions tho. Let us know.
