dumb question...date of Win XP install..
just wondering how to tell the specific date of a Windows install, in my case, Windows XP Home.

I don't have XP home, some I'm not sure if XP home creates a WINNT folder or a WINDOWS folder, but in either case go to c:\windows or c:\winnt and choose properties on that folder and see what date it was created.
