I haven't in a few months, but may fire it back up after I finish IWD II. Appears you keep the same hours as me as well.

Yeah, I do. Right now I'm playing the Hyperborea expansion.

Has anyone got the conversion that turns the Multiplayer campaign into a Single player game to work? I messed with it once and couldn't get it to work. Just wondering...

I just re-installed the regular game tonight. Never heard of the Hyperborea expansion.

Here's a link to Hyperborea:

http://www.dungeonsiege.com/mod_spotlight_tloh.shtml

There's an .exe installer for the mod (which is rare) so you can use it to install the game and get up and running in a hurry.

Here's info the the expansion that they have planned for the game:

http://www.microsoft.com/games/pc/dsloa.aspx

Note that this is just the expansion. DS II won't be out until next year.

Now that you've brought this up Mike I've been working (again) on getting the MP world to be playable in SP mode. Has anyone else been able to get this to work with all the latest updates? If I have to uninstall everything I will but I'd like to avoid that if at all possible. I've followed the directions to the T and double-checked to make sure the paths in my new file look just the paths in the original MpWorld using TankViewer.

For those of you who would like to test this out here's the link to the dirx I'm using. The thread's a bit dated but these are the only dirx I could find after a good bit of Googling.

http://www.forumplanet.com/planetdun...tid=622156&p=1

My problem is the same as Olog-hai's (#21) problem. I did try Myro's (#22) suggestion but it still doesn't work... :-(

EDIT: If any of you know of any good Mods on the game I'd love to hear about them. Hyperborea is quite a bit different from the original Dungeon Siege and I'm not so sure I like it. According the author's readme file that's very intentional. That's fine with me but I'm a bit miffed I have to do killing deer at the first of the game just to get enough gold to start playing....

I played through the single-player and buffed up on the chicken map, then played Copperhead recently (futuristic total conversion mod).

Scott Tiger, Copperhead (http://www.planetcopperhead.com/main.htm) doesn't use any gold or anything. There's no armor or anything, but instead of rings they have "nano-augs" that give you more health, a shield, run faster, etc.

I'll give Hyperborea a shot, thanks for the link!
