Gaming Can you trick XP?

I continually get the following message:
"Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows." This comes from a udf formatted DVD that i am trying to play.
This is not a region problem. This is not bad media or a bad burn.

I am running windows with Xtra Pain (XP).

Another computer virtually identical to mine, with the exception od the DVD drive, which appears identical in all aspects, can play these just fine. The main difference is his drivers, which appear to include ones specifically for udf formats.

SO HERE'S THE QUESTION:
Does anyone know of a way I can trick XP into using the drivers for his DVD drive ( QSI CDRW/DVD SBW-241)instead of the one thats in there(TOSHIBA SD-R2312)? I know in 98 it would be simple but cant figure it out in XP yet.

Control Panel (in category view) - Performance and Maintenance - System - Hardware tab - Device Manager

Right Click on the relevant DVD drive, Select Update Driver ...
Select "Install from a list or specified location" option
And then browse to the driver u wanna use.

hope that works and helps
