So, if my cpu has the tom's hardware logo, it's fried?
I just looked, it's still green with a black die ion the middle, so I guess I'm okay, phew!!!

"fired", not "fried"? also i don't see a link anywhere. is this the video article where they pull the heatsinks off of the cpus and let them fry?

I have a 1600+ and 1800+ ...both fried...they don't look any different from any other CPU

the 1600+ was fried when my dad put it in his fried motherboard
the 1800+ fried when the fan on a stock HSF stopped (was probably pulled out)

Haven't fired any of my cpus yet.
Though I'm thinking of firing my XP1800+ palomino.
My XP2500+ is a keeper.
