can't see dvd files

hello

I have somthing strange with my own dvd in my pc

everytime i want to show the files(vob or ifo) in the dvd disc

it's disapper .... i dont now why????

i try powerdvd windvd nothing...i try also powerdvdgeney

i hear from my friend that it can be the win xp lock...

i dont think....so if there someone had this so he cold help me

i also can't rip....it's get out from the program to the desktop

one more thing.....when i try to watch the movie in my dvd cd

it's show me that it open the powerdvd program and close..

please help me.... i have win xp 512ddr p-4 2.4

i forgot something.!! it's give me this error:

"cannot copy vts_02_5:the request could not be performed

because of an i/o device error"

can u play the dvd in some other computer's dvd rom drive?

is this error happening for only one dvd? or all dvds?

for some yes and for some no....
