need a new motherboard (again) :(

i think i have damaged my mb by a screwdriver when i wanted to put on the hsf.

i made a LITTLE mark down to the socket on the mb

so i need a new mb now.

any suggestions?

whats the best and easiest to use?

msi or asus or +++ `?

i have a xp 1800 +, 512 ddr ram pc2700 333mhz, 80gb hd, 300w psu.

Epox 8rda or Asus A7N8X. Both can be had for around/under 100. Are you sure your current motherboard is dead?

i think so.. because 2 different cpus didn't work on it.
and i made a mark on it.

i am going to order this :

Asus A7N8X-X hovedkort for Socket A
nForce2 400/MCP, ATX,ATA133,USB2.0,LAN

is it good / easy to setup?
