Any way to save modem/isp settings on Knoppix
My aunt is still using Windows 95. All she uses the computer for is word processing, e-mail and surfing the web.
She doesn't want to buy Windows XP or a bigger hard drive (only 1.6GB)
Should I give her a Knoppix CD?
Also since it runs off a cd is there anyway to save modem/isp settings so she won't have to configure it everytime she boots up? I don't think she'd go for that.
Or are there any other very small (under 1gb),easy,basic linux distributions that run off a hard drive so that user settings are saved?
