It'll be 144pin if its sd-ram or 200pin if it's ddr-ram, Laptop ram is called an SODIMM. Usually newer laptops have a cover on the bottom for upgrading ram so you don't have to take them completely apart and it that case it probably won't viod your warranty, but if you dop have to take the whole case apart you can bet that you'll kiss you warranty goodbye.
