Kids I need a new game...suggestions?

I am in desperate need of a new game. Been playing Vice City for a while now and it's definitely a fun game but it's starting to get old.

What's a good game that I should pick up? Been thinking about Enter the Matrix or maybe The Hulk game? Been so bored here lately I'm contemplating reinstalling MoH...AGAIN. lol.

From the reviews I would skip both (Hulk and Matrix).

What type / genre of games are you into playing?

For the most part I play FPS's...although I think I'm due for something different. So a good sports game or racing game would be alright..

eh, come on.. Give a good old real-time strategy game a try! Like Age of Mythology or Rise of Nations.... Those are great.
Or hey, maybe even Diablo?

Mechwarrior is also a lot of fun, but it takes a while to get used to. I have Mechwarrior4 Mercenaries, and I had a BLAST with that game.

I had alot of fun with this game but the force feedback drove me nuts. The joystick is contantly moving from left to right when you move, if you're gonna play this turn force feedback off unless you want a sore wrist

I doubt that I'd have to worry about that too much...you see...I...errr...nevermind. lol

I never really got into the strategy games much...I guess about the only one I ever played to some degree was Stronghold.

The mechwarrior games are a BLAST! If you don't feel like paying for mech 4 with the expansion and the 2 add-on paks, then MEch 3 still looks great and you can get it for like $20 or so.

Other suggestions:

No one Lives Forever 2 (or 1, if you haven't played that)
Freespace 2 (fun space sim, avaliable for cheap now)
Serious Sam (mindless, mindless, happy fun)
Black Hawk Down (Go to Somalia circa. 1993, and kick some butt)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein (if you haven't played it, get it)
Mechcommander 2 (butt-kicking RTS with giant explosions, which isalways fun. Oh, did I mention the 2000-odd downloadable campaigns and missions for it?)
Medieval: Total War (it's slow, but hey: what's more fun than sicking 200 Kapaphrakti squads on the French's butts? Not much ..... )
