Talk $200 to spend on awesome speakers with big subwoofer

Preferrably 2.1 but they don't have the big subs...I don't need a 4.1 because I don't have room/use for one sooooo I won't be using 2 of the speakers.

Maybe the deal is: should I get a 2.1 system and find a better subwoofer separately??

Time is at a premium now because I have to go to a library to use the comp...bought a new Dell comp last week and cable i-net is coming on Tuesday, then I'll be able to spend hours researching. Until then, I need you guys' help

Been looking at:
Klipsch 2.1
Klipsch 4.2
Logitech Z560

Question:
Are those lil 6.5" subs worth jack? I've never played with anything that small. The low end in car/home audio is always 10". It's kinda hard to imagine a 6 1/2" sub

Thanks!

Warthog

Promedia 2.1 is 120 at best buy right now.
PM4.1 is 200 at CC (free ship).
Z-560 is horrible don't get it and is 150 at Best Buy

Believe me you'll get PLENTY of kick out of the PM2.1 sub. I know it looks dinky, but you'll be impressed.

You're not going to be able to get a PM2.1 and find even a DECENT seperate subwoofer. The PM-SWS is 150 and that's about on the level with the PM4.1 sub, just louder.

Basically, my vote goes to the PM2.1. Use the 80 bucks and chip in 20 bucks and you have an M-audio revolution, the best music sound card out there.

MD hates logitech. The 560s aren't that bad, but the deal he has there is pretty good.

Actually, I was originally going to get the low-budget hi-fi special, but you can thank my dad for buying the speakers by themselves for the SAME price at Circuit City. Great. No digital decoder box for me

I'd go for it. It's a helluva deal, it's basically a 4.1 version of the Digital Dream 5.1's, which go for around 600 bucks (OUCH). Also, DD boxes are expensive, and here you get it for free.

BTW, I only hate Logitech because they betrayed me.

No one will even beat Klipsch when it comes to computer speakers. DIE FOOLS!!! Awww man, I can't believe anyone would buy monsoons. They sound horrible, those electrostatic speakers really live up to their name "electro-STATIC". Even 560's would be better. Ugh that wimpy subwoofer puts speakers everywhere to shame.
