MS Outlook 2000 Calender gone

I was wondering if someone out there has ever lost thier Calender in MS Outlook 2000? I have a user here at work that lost her Calender and I cannot find anything about a missing Calender in the MSKB. There was one entry that had to do with a white text on white backround but thats not whats happening here. When I highlight the Calender, It tells me "Unable to Display the Folder" in the right window where the Calender used to appear. She just used it this morning and there is tons of stuff in there she needs. I thought by maybe making sure the .pst file was in the appropriate directory was the problem but it's fine. Everything else in MS Outlook is there and she is only missing the calender. Does anyone have any Ideas here because I have run out?!?

is 'auto-archiving' turned on by anychance?

right-click 'calendar', 'properties', 'autoarchive', 'default archive settings'

that might help recover something?

this might help with an answer.......I was just importing everything to Outlook Express( so the user has a working email program for now) and during the calender import, it hit an error saying something about missing files.... Are there particular files that I could search for on the HDD that pertain only to the Outlook Calender? Anyone familiar with those if they exist and how many? I have tried uninstalling Office and re-installing it. Something must be remaining after the un-install because the new install has all the same flaws as the old. I even installed it in a different directory this time(Program Files\MS Office vs. Program Files\Microsoft Office) and still no go. Same calender problems exist. What files remain after un-installing MS Office 2000?

i think the relevant directories to look at would be either
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\
or
C:\Program Files\outlook2K\Office\1033\

these directories might have some calendar files remaining

Click the "help" button on the taskbar in Outlook and select the "detect & repair" option, see if it can self heal.
