trouble with nf7-s
ok so i finally got my new system set up with os and booted up. installled nforce2 chipset driver off abit provided cd no problems. download video card drivers from ati straight away to get my 9800 (non pro) running nice. downloaded a bunch of general apps and on of em was snadra to check out my new system. while looking at sandra i discovered that my apg slot was at 8x so i opened up display properties found my wy to the ait set-up screens and set it to 8x, then i rebooted. that when the problems started - windows lossed video when it went to use the drivers insted of just the default driver (about the time log-in screen pops up) - blue bars appeared and then the screen went off (no signal). i rebooted and told windows to do last known good configuration and when it booted up i noticed i had no internet. well i went into device manager and saw that my ethernet was not installed so i guessed that all the nforce chipset drivers had been uninstalled and went to re-install them. only problem is the install drivers app will not run (it goes to open and install shield does prep work and then it just crashes. so i went to install drivers manually and while sond drivers for all 3 sound bits installed fine the ethernet adapter will not install - it say access denied at the end of try to install the driver (note it also says this some times when trying to uninstall it). its currently on #3 from uninstalling and re-installing but i cant make it work so i want to know 2 things a) how do i install driver for this and 2) why wont it run 8x agp
