win xp home question

How do I make programs available to all users? When I download certain things it will only make it available on my name. This causes a small problem because I download alot of stuff for my kids. I have created accounts for them but they still have to play their games and stuff on my name.

Thanks

Wolf

You need to change the permissions of the other users to have administrative rights. I think by default when you create a new user the user has only basic rights.

I had the same problem. The only way that I figured out how to solve it was to head to the Indiviual users in 'documents and setting', find the program that you want to run and then move to the same place but in the 'All users' folder.

Then anyone should be able to see the program from the Start menu.
