Logitech Z-680+Audigy 2 platinum help plz

Hello, I just connected the Z-680 with an audigy 2 platinum. They are currently connected by a optical cable using the external drive. Also configure by;

*Enable Digitial Output Only
*Disable AC3 in Device Control

My concern is when Its in optical I just get 4 Effects i cant find Dolby Digital or DTS; i can only choose from Stereo, Stereo 2, PL2 Music, and PL2 Movie. Is this normal or Should there be a Dolby Digital or DTS effect?

Do you guys think my system is faulty or Its just how every Z-680 is?

When you are using a TOSlink cable (optical) you should not even have option to select different effects.

At least that what I have here and other people that I know that are using Optical IN.

how does it sound??? does it sound better than letting the audigy 2 do the decoding??

Yeah, I get to choose from stereo,sterei 2, etc. I also compared the sound between analog and digital, they both sound the same to me. Im afraid theres something wrong with Z-680.

By the way when I play dvd's I can enable DTS and cant change the effect. But cant enable dts or Dolby digital while playing music or playing games, or does DTS and Dolby digital get enable only on dvd, but not in other applications like games, music, or background.
