Up2date Drivers & Bios

Im building my 1st comp so please bear with me I need some help & direction and this is the best for that sorta stuff!

Here's what i got..
-Asus A7N8X Deluxe V2.0 (Not installed)
-ATHLON XP2500 "Barton" 333 - Retail (Still unopened not installed)
-ENERMAX EG365P-VE(FC). 350W Ps - Retail (Still unopened not installed)
-Samsung 1.44MB FDD DRIVE - OEM
-WD "SE" 120GB 7200RPM WD1200JB - OEM
-CRUCIAL MICRON 512MB PC 2700 DDR RAM - CT6464Z335 (Still unopened not installed)
-Cordless MX Duo Cordless Elite Keyboard w/MX700 Mouse (Still unopened not installed)
-ATI RADEON 9500 PRO 128MB DDR DVI AGP - RETAIL (Still unopened not installed)

Being Shipped..
-Plextor 52x32x52 PlexWriter Premium BLACK - Retail
-Samsung SyncMaster 955DF 19"
-US Robotics USR5610B 56K V.92 Performance Pro - RETAIL


..So, (1.)what drivers and bios should i dload now or should i wait or something then save them to floppy? I just want a rock stable puter..nothing fancy just stable..!

(2.)Are there any known issues with any of these components?

(3.)Does anyone have a linc to any walkthroughs to put this thing together w/ similar parts? (i know its highly unlikely to find, but entirely possible)

Any Lincs highly appreciated!

1.) Use the drivers that came with the components. You shouldn't have to flash to a newer BIOS.

2.) You have some good parts there. They will work great.

Guys, any suggestions on a Black DVD Rom Drive? I know the Pioneer 120s gets rave reviews..but i cant seem to find a Black one w/ a reasonable price..

Those Samsungs are pretty good. I like MOST Samsung products.

But I have to agree with Mike on the LiteOn drive... I've used several, and they all do the job very nicely.
