Hehe, it's a joke. I'm ranting about FPS's on the XBox. Even though the Xbox has a mouse/keyboard (or will have one), it's quite nice to play on my high-res 19" CRT than on a low-res TV with killer sound and all the rest.

Sorry, I'm not trying to make this into an XB vs PC thread. I'll stop.

I agree with you.So far I can only play Halo to some degree of accuracy with a controller. I missed the mouse and keyboard. BTW Unreal Tournament is mouse and keyboard supported on the PS2. I don't know why all of them dropped the ball on that.

maybe its jsut what you're used to?
I can aim and control much better with the dual thumbsticks on an xbox control than I can with a keyboard and mouse (but then again I play halo all the time and rarely PC FPS games)

This is true, I really got into consoles when the XBox came out. On Unreal Championship, I am constant;y owned. I have Ghost Recon for XBox and it's a little better. Games like Splinter Cell and Max Payne,Moto GP,Midnight ClubII,I do better on controller than FPS's.Halo is the only game on XBox I do decent on FPS with a controller.

If the bigger controllers for xbox weren't so rare now I'd re-wire one of mine so I could use it on my PC, because I'm a much better aim with controllers too.

I prefer mouse and keyboard over a controller anytime. I remember back in the day using a joystick for Doom2. (Obviously controllers may have "evolved" from back then. )

Then again when I play console games I can usually do fairly well with whatever game I am playing. Just not as good as many of the die hard console gamers.
