I would go with a board with the nforce2 chipset, which means the MSI is the only option of the 3. Unless you accidently left the 'n' out on the ASUS...

Those are just some motherboards in town. What motherboard would you suggest for around 100.

Well, the epox 8rda is under 100 these days. rock solid and works well if you plan on OC. The other major option is the Asus a7n8x, its the nforce version of the board you posted at top.

Not sure. You only get the dual DDR performance off 2 sticks. I think you can fill the 3rd slot, but the mobo cant use dual on it.

That is not true.
When using an AMD rig, ya can occupy all 3 slots and still have DC-DDR.
Quoting my manual of my A7N8X:
To enhance system performance, utilize dual-channel feature when installing additional dimms. Install the dimms in any of the following sequence: sockets 1&3 or sockets 2&3 or sockets 1, 2 &3.
So there ya go, it can be done.
The 3 dimms no DC-DDR is a fact with intel chips, but that is because they have 4 slots for it.
There ya hafta use 2 or 4, 3 is not an option.
