Batch File Howto

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you Windows experts out there could point me to a good tutorial that explains how to write batch file for Windows. I've Googled a bit but came up with bupkus. I'm not trying to do anything fancy here - being able to move files and execute CLI interface programs would enough for me.

Thanks!

The "move" command can be used to move files or directories.

move c:\images\ds*.jpg d:\backup\images

moves all jpegs in the images folder that begins with ds

move c:\images d:\backimages

moves the folder images ( and all subdirectories and files within) on the c drive and creates the folder backimages on the d drive

What does CLI stand for?
