At Home Playing MOHAAS Multiplayer over a Router

i suddenly can't get ppl in multiplayer, like if i host a game and give them my ip to connect to they can't connect, and this happened soon as i got my router, is it the built in NAT firewall or sum, i even give them my modems ip and they still can't connect but i can connect to other game servers

You either need to put the host machine's IP into a "DMZ" or, forward the ports for MOHAA to go to the IP of the host machine. I recommend just forwarding the ports to the host machine.

What brand/model router is it?

Go into your router's config. page 192.168.1.1 . . .

Click the "Advanced" tab.

Click the "Forwarding" tab.

Put in the range of ports for MOHAA, Google can help you there, where it shows "Ext.Port". I check both the "Protocol UDP" and "Protocol TCP" boxes. Put in the IP of the host machine, then check the "Enable" box.

Click the "Apply" button at the bottom, and it should work.
