GIMP - Eye Bulge

There is a cool picture of a cat with BULGING eyes on the first page of the GIMP users Manual.

HOW'D they do that?

I want to apply that to a picture I have.


Any help on the proper tool to use or link to a tutorial is appreciated.

Close, But you edited the eyes an pasted them back on.

Looks like a morph of some kind - stretching certain parts, compressing other parts as opposed to cut - enlarge - paste.

I think that was just the pinch and whirl filter....... (look at the ears) ...... only instead of scrunching it down......the moved the bar the other direction and made it bigger.

I'll test it out when I get home

This one was done using whirl and pinch filter.....in reverse...... better ??

But this one is funnier........ pinching effect on the poor kitty
