How to get dual monitors on an ATI Rage LE PRO?

I have an ATI Rage LE PRO, with two flat panel monitors. I was able to get my laptop with two displays. When I Have two flat panels, both screens show the same thing. Thanks.

Those old RagePro chips weren't dual head capable. Dual outputs yes, separate contents no.

sorry to hear that man. Theres a good 64MB one but its to pricy so id say go with a nice 128MB one thats less then 400 or w/e floats ur boat.

This is for my uncle's comp. I ahve a FX 5200 Ultra. The card MUST HAVE a special all digital port, i forget the name, because one of the monitors hooks up only thorugh that.

You can get a DVI to VGA adapter.

I beleive your talking about the LCD monitor Plugin on the back of that Card if I'm think right and its the same as my GF-FX design of my card

It is NOT DVI. I know what dvi is. The monitor, a compaq fp700, came out early in the lcd age. It is in a DFS or something format, I can't remember. All I remember is that the Rage LT Pro was tghe only card my uncle could find that had this special connector.

Well, That video card is not the only video card like that.. Here are the slots that card has on the back of it.

Rage LT Pro
1. Digital Flat Panel Port
2. Video Output - PC2TV
3. VGA Monitor Port

the slot your probley talking about is for like connecting a TV up to your videocard.. Is a ImpacTV2/PC2TV port. as listed above. can be somewant useful, but as far as i know It did not go over all that well I'm guessing. or the renamed it.

Its teh DFP, digital flat panel port. If anyone knows of other video cards that have the DFP port and support dual monitors, let me know.
