Outdoors Direct x9a

i just installed direct x9a and when i went to play grand prix 4 which work k b4 the screen came up all fuzy in menus etc!any ideas why?soz if in wrong forum!!

What are your system specs? Esp. your graphics card?

Hi -

What operating system are you using?
Might try re-installing the game after you installed dx9(skip any dx install during that process).
Any patches available for the game that you might have missed?

Well, could be a number of other of things, I suppose. One quick fix might be to just run a system restore to the point before you installed DX9 so you will still be able to play while you look for information on to what is causing this problem.

Some games just won't work with dx9, it's a shame but that's how it is.

If you really really need to play a game that doesn't have a patch and wont work with dx9, don't install it.

Anyone know how to remove DirectX 9.0a? Off a new system that is, so I could install good old DirecctX 8.1a... There has to be a way (besides reverting the OS) to get it off. Aynone have any links or apps that might be able to help me out?
